DNA genealogical test

A DNA genealogical test is used to provide additional information about the geographical origins of your more distant ancestors. We use the test to define the geographic origins of your ancestors along both maternal and paternal lines.

The DNA test is the perfect complement to your Family Chronicle. Those areas in which people with similar genes are most commonly found will be highlighted on a world map. These are the areas where your predecessors lived or moved to new areas to live.

The process of testing:

We’ll give you a mouth swab to collect a sample (DNA)

A lab conducts DNA analysis and the and determine your membership in haplogroups (using Y-DNA or mtDNA)

Lab analysis is used to create a laboratory description of the results, which we can incorporate into your Family Chronicle and create a certificate using the results of your membership in different haplogroups
